What Life Would Be Like If We Live More Like Water?

 

No matter what form water takes, it is still water. Water is present everywhere and it enjoys each and every moment. This is why I often wonder what life would be like if we live more like water.

For example:

• Water goes around any obstacle that’s in its way.
• Water doesn’t stop to argue, it has no time
• Water goes with the flow, it is adaptable
• Water is gentle and easy
• Water has its own kind of power 

Nothing can stop water from flowing – nothing at all.

Just like water, let us not allow obstacles to stop us from moving forward. Let us find ways to go around our obstacles and pursue the desires of our hearts.

Water has no time to stop and argue. It just continues flowing without any disturbances. Just like water, let us not argue. Instead, let us walk away from arguments. Getting involve in arguments is a total waste of valuable time.

How about going with the flow? Let us not complicate our lives by overthinking or dwelling on the past. Let us keep on going with the flow, just like water.

Water is gentle and easy.  Let us maintain a gentle and easy spirit, just like water.

Water is powerful. You have your own kind of power,  just like water. That power is within you. Just search deep down within your soul and you shall find it.

Now, can you imagine what life would be like if we:

• find ways around our obstacles
• stop arguing
• stop overthinking
• have a gentle spirit
• utilize our power

and live more like water? Imagine it…

Often times we tend to believe that we are the only ones who are good at doing something, and if it is not done the way we think it should, then it is no good at all.

Why is this so? Could it be because we are little bit controlling? Or is it that we are simple control freaks?

The truth of the fact is that everyone is good in their own way, and everyone does things differently. Their ways might not be the way we think it should be done but at the end of the day most results are the same.

Take for example the task of making a bed; in my opinion there is no right way to make a bed, there are just different ways. Likewise, there is no right way to tidy a house, there are just different ways. What do you think?

We All Are Passengers

It is said that “life is a journey”. Therefore, it simple means that from the moment we were born we became passengers.

However, the journey is not the same for everyone. Some rides are rocky while others are smooth sailing.

But if your ride is rocky you should still enjoy your journey. Stop thinking about the bumps in the road and focus on the arrival to your destination.

Let go and let the future reveals itself, let go and enjoy the journey, enjoy every single bit of it because this is just a one time journey.

Remember that whatever surprises this journey brings to you and whatever destination it takes you to,  you are capable of handling it.

Stop Searching For What Was Not Said

Some people are not very good at expressing themselves.

Is it because they do not understand that expressing themselves is about the other person and not them?

Some of them really do not care how their messages might affect others and because they are so self-centered they do not pay attention to the words that spring forth from their lips. They just do not care.

But what they fail to understand is that the moment they stop caring about other people’s feelings is the moment they stop trying to express themselves in an amicable way. Sometimes too, it is so hard to believe that their messages are sincere because it seems more of a criticism rather than sincerity.

Why Does The Wicked Prosper, despite their wicked ways?

Some people have everything they wish for despite their wickedness.

What a pity!

And it seems as though they live a life without pain, without heartaches and without struggles, despite their wickedness.

Yes their lives seem perfect! They have everything their hearts desire, despite their wickedness.

And then we wonder why God allow these people to prosper, while you and I who are trying to live a virtuous and righteous life have to struggle hard for everything.

Make Sure That You Laugh Today

Yes, we all know that we are not here to stay.

We also know that we are just dust! From dust we were form and to dust we shall return!

Therefore, it’s time for us to start living our life to the fullest and stop wasting time on things that doesn’t matter….those little things.

Enjoy every minute; every moment of your life. Laugh hard, pray constantly, shout, sing, cry and everything else that you do make sure you are happy.

Most of all, ensure that you laugh today because with a blow of the wind you and I can disappear….just like that.
