What seeds are you sowing?
I recently read an article about sowing positive seeds and was captivated by this statement:
“Our thoughts and the environmental inputs we allow ourselves to be exposed to, are like seeds being planted in our consciousness.”
Read it again!
We must be careful of the thoughts that consume our minds because they will become seeds and grow.
And believe it or not, negative seeds are easier to grow root within us than positive seeds.
Yes, I know that it is not easy to focus on the positives at all times but if we train our minds to identify negative thoughts as they surface, we will be able to disregard them quickly and focus on the positives.
There are many splendid reasons why we should always try to sow positive seeds, but for now, let us take a look at 4 solid reasons. Continue reading 4 Reasons Why We Should Sow Positive Seeds
Do you know why I celebrate Valentines Day every day? Because LOVE is all that I have to give and my love is enough for the 365 days of the year. It’s bubbling over, and I just can’t keep it to myself.
If love is all that you have to give, every day of your life can be Valentine’s day too.
Our Love is always enough.
When we have genuine love for people, no matter what their race or status is, we will always have something to give:
- a smile
When we have love, we have everything and every day can be Valentine’s Day!
“When I think of the goodness of Jesus and what he has done for me, my heart cries out hallelujah, thank God for his saving grace…”
When I was a child I used to sing this song quite often at Sunday school. But did I really understood what it meant? Not at all! I just sang because the rhythm was sweet, and I could get to dance.
Today, I was singing this song and realized that I was singing it with a different attitude and a more graceful dance. Today, I was singing and dancing with real meaning and deep appreciation. Appreciation for the beauty of his earth, and appreciation for having friends like you.
You see, when I am on the down low and darkness surrounds me he always reminds me of who he is by sending me sunshine to light up my heart and friends to lift up my spirit with words of inspiration and kindness.
Furthermore, when my heart is overflowing with sadness he sends me his love in more ways than one. Yes indeed, God is good, and his loving kindness is extended to everyone on this earth because his love is not partial.
Friends let us be reminded that we are surrounded by the goodness of God everywhere we turn so let us open our eyes and look, then praise him for it!
Often times we tend to believe that we are the only ones who are good at doing something, and if it is not done the way we think it should, then it is no good at all.
Why is this so? Could it be because we are little bit controlling? Or is it that we are simple control freaks?
The truth of the fact is that everyone is good in their own way, and everyone does things differently. Their ways might not be the way we think it should be done but at the end of the day most results are the same.
Take for example the task of making a bed; in my opinion there is no right way to make a bed, there are just different ways. Likewise, there is no right way to tidy a house, there are just different ways. What do you think? Continue reading Do You Appreciate The Effort Of Others?

It’s ok to celebrate
It’s a very estatic feeling when we have acquired a major acheivement or even a minor accomplishment. We feel overjoyed and feel the need to celebrate. Everyone does that.
And it’s quite alright for us to celebrate our victories and accomplishments no matter how big or how small they are. We can even talk about it for days with friends and families; there’s no harm in doing so.
Hey, sometimes we need to sound our own trumpet; there’s really no harm in us sounding our own trumpet. Moreover, if we don’t, who will? Continue reading To be exalted or to be humbled? which do you prefer?

Jealousy is a natural emotion and we all get jealous sometime or another
However, we should not allow jealousy to be deeply rooted in our hearts because when it exceeds its limit, it becomes dangerous.
