The Tears of No

I cry in the sunshine because I know that life is beautiful and I can handle my tears

I watched steadfastly with a tightened heart as the coffin was lowered in the ground. The pastor was saying, “ashes to ashes, dust to dust…” I heard him but I was not listening to him. I was listening to the voices in my head that was telling me, “it is over, he is gone, no more smile, he will not call your name anymore…” Somewhere deep within me I felt a pain that hurt so much and the tears started rolling down my cheeks. FRIENDS – they are out there

If you desire more friends, begin by being a good friend to others

There are truly some very genuine and loving people in this world. I’ve met a few this weekend at Jacqueline’s  and Etta’s blog parties and they were awesome indeed.

By the way, these party are still going on so I would suggest you run over to mix and mingle, meet some new friends, eat, drink and dance!

Difficult People: how to deal with them

3 Days Quote Challenge – #3

Josephine described her boss has someone who is miserable and does not listen to anything she says. She said nothing pleases him, he is always annoyed and constantly quarrels with his employees over simple matters.

She stated that sometimes he would request that a task be done in a particular way, but when it is done, he would shout angrily at her saying that’s not the way he asked her to do it.

When asked how she coped with such a difficult boss, she smiled and said, “I exercise patience.”

Be Patient

Like Josephine, we too should exercise patience when dealing with difficult people.

I agree that sometimes it’s hard to resist the temptation of going crazy on them, but let us not allow their rudeness or unpleasantness to disturb our peace of mind.

Instead, we should stay calm and treat them with love.

Remember that… LOVE is always strong enough to endure trials and temptations.

Furthermore… LOVE is not rude but is patient and kind.

Listen to The Silence

3 days quote challenge: #1

I was invited to the 3 days post a quote challenge by Sayanti who blogs at Close To You. Thank you my friend Sayanti.

My first quote for today is based on silence because I’m in a pensive mood.

Not sad…just feeling dreamily thoughtful and listening to the silence around me.

When I listen to the silence, I’m drawn closer to my higher self which is the part of me that makes me feel peaceful and contented.

silence

Too many times we search for answers in the wrong places when the answers are within us.

We just need to stay still and listen.

A crown of glory

Gray hair is a crown of gloryit is gained from livinga Godly life.

Yesterday as I was combing my mother’s hair, I couldn’t help but to snap a picture of her crown of glory.

I had no intention of posting this picture. But something in me keeps telling me that if I love it I should show it.

I pray that I may live to have this crown of glory so that my grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren will have the opportunity to snap a picture of my hair one day.

I give thanks to the Almighty for the strength he has given to her and all the mothers and grandmothers out there that has a crown of glory.

May he continue to bless them with his everlasting love and give them peace continually.

That’s it!
