I have never met a woman who is uncertain of herself. As a matter of fact, every woman will be quick to answer “yes, I am confident.” But why not? They have every right to say so, if they believe so.

However, I thought about some character traits that would make up a confident woman, and came up with 15.

Getting Better with Age

“Growing old is not all scary. You can be excited for what the future holds, too. Who cares if you get wrinkles and your body aches here and there. Make like wine and get better with age…”

Sometimes I feel OLD. My two wrinkles are particularly obvious that day, my back is aching for no reason and I’m going to bed early on a Saturday night. No wonder people complain about aging and dread growing old. Well, I’m tired of it! No, I’m not tired of getting old. I’m tired of hearing the complaints. Call me delusional, but I really don’t think it’s as bad as it seems. Here are some of my optimistic reasons why growing old means that life only gets better.

You are a Masterpiece: what follows “I am”

You Are Not A Mistake

You Are A Masterpiece

Watch the words that follow your “I am” because you are a Masterpiece and you are what God made you to be; a beautiful human created for a purpose.

That is why you are one of a kind and there can NEVER be another like you. No-one can speak like you, talk like you, walk like you or smile like you. They can imitate you yes, but it will never be you.

Love yourself and accept who you are because you were wonderfully and fearfully made in the likeness of God.

Also, watch the words that follow your “I am” because as simple as you take it the things you say about yourself will determine the type of life you live. The words that follow your “I am” will not hesitate to come looking for you. Continue reading You are a Masterpiece: what follows “I am”

Beauty Comes In Different Forms

Beauty comes in many different forms

The sun is beautiful, a full moon is beautiful, and the stars are also beautiful. But all three of them are beautiful in their own way and shine differently.

Likewise people. Everyone is beautiful in their own way so do not pass judgement about anyone’s character before getting to know them.

True beauty lies within a person and unless we get to speak with them, know their thoughts and what makes them tick, then we have no right to decide that he/she is not a beautiful person.

The bible tells us that “people judge from outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” 1st Samuel 16:7

Let us not be concern about external looks but try to accept and get to know each other before passing judgement.

Also, we should try to cultivate our own characters instead of worrying about our external beauty. Let us work on our internal beauty and clothe ourselves with the beauty of a loving and quiet spirit, which will be precious to God.

Everyone is more than what we see or what we may think…
