The Tears of No

I cry in the sunshine because I know that life is beautiful and I can handle my tears

I watched steadfastly with a tightened heart as the coffin was lowered in the ground. The pastor was saying, “ashes to ashes, dust to dust…” I heard him but I was not listening to him. I was listening to the voices in my head that was telling me, “it is over, he is gone, no more smile, he will not call your name anymore…” Somewhere deep within me I felt a pain that hurt so much and the tears started rolling down my cheeks. Jealousy: don’t get jealous

SIGN ME UP! (2)

Jealousy is a natural emotion and we all get jealous sometime or another

However, we should not allow jealousy to be deeply rooted in our hearts because when it exceeds its limit, it becomes dangerous.

The truth is, wherever jealousy is present there is always chaos and disorderly behavior, and these behavior will drive us crazy if we are not careful.

Therefore, let us resist the temptation of : Continue reading Jealousy: don’t get jealous

Beauty Comes In Different Forms

Beauty comes in many different forms

The sun is beautiful, a full moon is beautiful, and the stars are also beautiful. But all three of them are beautiful in their own way and shine differently.

Likewise people. Everyone is beautiful in their own way so do not pass judgement about anyone’s character before getting to know them.

True beauty lies within a person and unless we get to speak with them, know their thoughts and what makes them tick, then we have no right to decide that he/she is not a beautiful person.

The bible tells us that “people judge from outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” 1st Samuel 16:7

Let us not be concern about external looks but try to accept and get to know each other before passing judgement.

Also, we should try to cultivate our own characters instead of worrying about our external beauty. Let us work on our internal beauty and clothe ourselves with the beauty of a loving and quiet spirit, which will be precious to God.

Everyone is more than what we see or what we may think…

Memories of Yesterday

 3 Days Quote Challenge: #2

I was nominated by my friend Sayanti who blogs at Close To You for the 3 days quote challenge. Thank you Sayanti for your kind consideration.

Today I chose to write a quote about memories because in my part of the world I’m having torrential rain.

The rain drops on my roof are unlocking the doors of my memory box…carrying me back to beautiful moments….

So here is the quote I came up with.

The Beautiful Memoriesof yesterday (1)

The rules for this challenge are very simple. For the 3 days you just need to post a quote or if you wish you can post all 3 quotes on the same day.

You then nominate three other bloggers each day to participate in this challenge and inform them about it.

Remember, you need to thank the blogger who nominated you.

Here are my 3 nominees for today:

  1.  mental break in progress
  2.  mavtheauthor
  3.  Kings Oracle

Nominees, you are under no obligation to accept this challenge. But if you do I would be happy….

Happy Blogging!

Listen to The Silence

3 days quote challenge: #1

I was invited to the 3 days post a quote challenge by Sayanti who blogs at Close To You. Thank you my friend Sayanti.

My first quote for today is based on silence because I’m in a pensive mood.

Not sad…just feeling dreamily thoughtful and listening to the silence around me.

When I listen to the silence, I’m drawn closer to my higher self which is the part of me that makes me feel peaceful and contented.

silence

Too many times we search for answers in the wrong places when the answers are within us.

We just need to stay still and listen.

Look Beyond The Surface

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL

Everything about life is beautiful and the beauty of it all can be found right in this world.

But the thing is, we tend to only skim the surface of life instead of looking deeply and beyond it.

Our world is rich and its richness is for everyone.

So why should you sit back without claiming what is yours?

Why should I sit back without claiming what is mine?

It is your world! It is my world! It is our world!

Look around you and see the richness of it all…claim it!

And stop searching for the big things!

Instead, look for the small things; it’s the small things that usually bring tremendous joy.

This is what Chogyam Trungpa said:

“Look: This is your world! You can’t not look. There is no other world. This is your world: it is your feast. You inherited this; you inherited these eyeballs; you inherited this world of color. Look at the greatness of the whole thing. Look! Don’t hesitate, open your eyes, don’t blink, and look, look, look.”

The beauty of our NOW lies in this world.

Let us claim it and enjoy it.

I Am Not Afraid

Live Fearlessly 2

The truth is, when you know that GOODNESS and MERCY are by your side you live each day complete and have nothing to fear

You wake up every morning bursting with joy and just can’t wait to start your day…

The truth is, GOODNESS and MERCY will never leave your side as long as you trust in God and believe in his words.

I am not afraid…..And that’s the truth!

Are you?
