This is the Future Of Work -LinkedIn

I found this interesting PowerPoint presentation on LinkedIn. It is thought provoking and insightful so I’m sharing it with you. I encourage everyone to take a look at this presentation if you haven’t seen it before. It gives an insight as to how the workplace will operate in the future when robots are in total control. Hmmm…

Does Your Choice of Friends Represents Who You Are?

If you are a sheep and you live in a pig pen, does it mean that you are a pig? Would you behave like a pig? Eat like a pig? And wobble in mud like a pig?
Now tell me, is this saying “show me your company and I’ll tell you who you are,” true?
Sometimes we will we find ourselves in the company of people that others believe are “not good enough.” But this does not mean that we are “not good enough” because we can be in their company for a purpose.
As for me, I am always surrounded by people whose behavior and life style is out of order. This does not mean that I have a disorderly conduct.
When I am with them, I use my voice of inspiration to help them make a positive change. After-all, they are the ones, who need inspiration and motivation the most.
Let us not assume or judge anyone because of their choice of friends. A person choice of friends does not always represent the person they are.
What do you think?

Do You Make Wise Ethical Choices?

Ethical Choices

Do you consider yourself to be an ethical person? Does your speech, behavior, and action promote good ethics? Do you make wise ethical choices?

Who is an ethical person?

In life we should make choices that are guided by our moral values and conscience. So an ethical person is simply someone who knows what is right from wrong, honest from dishonest, fair from unfair, and acts accordingly.

I do my best to be an ethical person, but sometimes I falter, and that’s the truth. Because of my imperfections I sometimes find myself in situations in which I make unwise ethical Continue reading Do You Make Wise Ethical Choices?

Will You Be The One?

Have you ever looked deeply in the eyes of a hungry man? Today as you sit around your Thanksgiving table, and as you partake in the various variety of elaborate dishes please enjoy every bit of it with a thankful heart. I know that today is a special day and you are all very excited to share it with family and friends. However, amidst your excitement and joy please remember this:

There are people in your surrounding areas who are dying of hunger.

So who will be the one to say a silent prayer for them? Will you be the one? Will you take a minute or two to arrange a small plate with all your goodies and deliver it to someone who needs it right now? Continue reading Will You Be The One?

Don’t Forget About The Homeless

Every now and then I would come across people who are homeless and suffering, and it would break my heart. Then I would wish silently for the power to change their lives and ask God to touch the hearts of the more fortunate people to extend a helping hand to those in need.

I just don’t know what life has in store for me. I have seen people who had everything lost it all in a blink of an eye. And the sadness of it all is that the people whom they thought would stand by their sides turned their backs on them.

So when the world forget about them, what are they suppose to do? When all hope is lost, who can they turn to? Continue reading Don’t Forget About The Homeless

Goodness of God

“When I think of the goodness of Jesus and what he has done for me, my heart cries out hallelujah, thank God for his saving grace…”

When I was a child I used to sing this song quite often at Sunday school. But did I really understood what it meant? Not at all! I just sang because the rhythm was sweet, and I could get to dance.

Today, I was singing this song and realized that I was singing it with a different attitude and a more graceful dance. Today, I was singing and dancing with real meaning and deep appreciation. Appreciation for the beauty of his earth, and appreciation for having friends like you.

You see, when I am on the down low and darkness surrounds me he always reminds me of who he is by sending me sunshine to light up my heart and friends to lift up my spirit with words of inspiration and kindness.

Furthermore, when my heart is overflowing with sadness he sends me his love in more ways than one. Yes indeed, God is good, and his loving kindness is extended to everyone on this earth because his love is not partial.

Friends let us be reminded that we are surrounded by the goodness of God everywhere we turn so let us open our eyes and look, then praise him for it!

Misfortunes are not that bad after all

Sometimes it takes a push from misfortune for us to unleash our true potentials

Tears scrolled sadly down his cheeks.  With his hands folded tightly across his chest, the young man stared in distress at his possessions laying on the side of the road in a puddle. He slowly shook his head to and fro; accepting defeat. Just like that, he was cast out of his home with nowhere to go; no roof over his head. He was speechless at the unexpected turn in event that had crept upon  him so he stood frozen in the pelting rain and cried. Continue reading Misfortunes are not that bad after all
