Wise Ethical Choices
Do you consider yourself to be an ethical person? Do your speech, behavior, and action promote good ethics? Do you make wise ethical choices?
Who Is An Ethical Person?
An ethical person is someone who can differentiate between right from wrong, honest from dishonest, fair from unfair, and acts accordingly.
Without a doubt, we all do our best to be ethical people, but sometimes we falter and make unwise ethical choices. But heck, we are just humans, isn’t it?
However, not because we are imperfect people, we are going to run around acting carelessly or go about making unwise decisions. Not at all!
Bear in mind that we are responsible for own ethical choices, and we should exercise these choices with empathy.
How Should We Act?
Therefore, let us demonstrate in our conduct respect for each other and make sure that our opinions and our feelings are always truthful and honest.
In fact, let us promote ethical living through the choices we make each day and make sure that our choices do not have a negative impact on others.
Promoting Good Ethics
Promoting good ethics will make us feel contented, and make us live an honest, truthful, and healthier life. Additionally, by promoting good ethics, we can help others to change their unethical behavior through our actions.
Wise ethical choices will not only help us to conduct ourselves appropriately but will also enable us to make conscious decisions.
Finally, it is up to you and me to promote integrity through the choices we make, so that this world will be a better place for our future generation.
Key takeaway: We should promote good ethics through our actions, deeds, and thoughts. Also, we must be considerate of others and make sure that the choices we make or our behavior do not affect them but rather help them to live a better life.
Now tell me, do you consider yourself to be an ethical person? Do your speech, behavior, and action promote good ethics? Do you make wise ethical choices?
xoxo ~ Dehan
I always attempt to make ethical choices, and although I find it difficult to think of when I don’t, I am sure someone can bring up something I’ve forgotten. I feel it is a blessing to not have been truly tested. For example, I have never had to make a choice between not stealing or not eating. With this in mind, I pray that I can always be as compassionate as I think I am “ethical.”

I would say that I’m an ethical person, I was brought up by good role models who taught me the right values and good work and life ethics. But I’d be lying if I said I always make ethical choices. I’ve made mistakes and bad decisions but I’d never deliberately hurt someone. Life can be testing, that’s for sure.

You are so right Miriam, life can be testing and no matter how good a person we are, sometimes we act without thinking. Thanks for your input, I appreciate it.

Honestly? My whole life been high on ethical standards but! the lapses when I falter! Horrible! Shameful! Then? Behold! The power of love from on high descended on me! Wow! Transformed! Now? In His Presence now I rest away from all moral conflicts! In Him I am complete. Perfectly ethical. Genuine spontaneously….All honor be to the One my gaze is set upon! Much love, thiaBasilia. 🙂

Life is definitely a journey, and we can’t always get it right. That’s ok, because we’re human. I think everything that is done with the intention of doing something good for this world is a positive thing. If you falter, that’s ok. Don’t beat yourself up about it. Learn from the experience and move on. That’s how I see it at least. Great blog by the way.
