Often times we tend to believe that we are the only ones who are good at doing something, and if it is not done the way we think it should,Β then it is no good at all.
Why is this so? CouldΒ it be becauseΒ we are little bit controlling?Β Or is it that we are simple control freaks?
The truth of the fact is that everyone is good in their own way, and everyone does things differently. Their ways might not be the way we think it should be done but at the end of the day mostΒ results are the same.
Take for example the task of making a bed; in my opinion there is no right way to make a bed, there are just different ways. Likewise, there is no right way to tidyΒ a house, there are just different ways. What do you think?
Even if a certain taskΒ is not done up to our standards, instead of belittling another person’s talent we should show appreciation for their input.Β You see, just as how we want to have a high feeling of importance there are others too who want to feel the same and just as how we believe that we are the best, there are others too who believeΒ the same.
Therefore, let us not downgrade the abilities of others, but instead let us lift each other up by advising and supporting each other’s talent. I’m sure you will agree that we all have something to offer to this world, but in different ways.
Furthermore, we cannot do it ALLΒ by ourselves. No we just can’t. Why? Because “no man is an island and no man stands alone.” We all will rise by lifting each other up.
SoΒ let us now develop the habit of letting go and start to honor and appreciate someone else’s effort.
Let us praise others for their ways of getting things done, even if it’s not according to our ways.

I whole heartedly agree with this and live by it as well. I noticed that when we allow people to do things the way they know how to do it instead of “micro-managing” them or criticizing them, the outcome of their work is amazing. In the work place and when it comes to personal projects, people do a more beautiful work when they are allowed to be themselves 100% of the time. This was really great. Peace and love to you.

Good evening Dehan π
I found your blog through Nikki’s Meet & Greet party, and I am glad I clicked on your link π I deeply agree with what you say, and it made me smile, because, although much shorter, and written in a much less elegant way, I had a similar post published today!
