Out of the silent breath

I feel a deep sense of release. I don’t know how to express my thoughts. It’s been a climb and sometimes a dip, but I knew that one day, I will arrive at this juncture.

Except I sit with you over a cup of tea, maybe only then will you really understand my journey – one day, I shall speak of these things.

To all those who have supported me to this point, I remain ever grateful. You have no idea what your friendship means to me and how far it’s taken me.

I present to you – even though some of you had a sneak cover peek, it was tweaked a bit – my poetry book. I laughed writing some, I bled writing some, I sighed writing some and I cried writing some.

It’s all Glory to Him. He made it possible.

It’s available on Amazon-Kindle and Smashwords and…

Beauty Comes In Different Forms

Beauty comes in many different forms

The sun is beautiful, a full moon is beautiful, and the stars are also beautiful. But all three of them are beautiful in their own way and shine differently.

Likewise people. Everyone is beautiful in their own way so do not pass judgement about anyone’s character before getting to know them.

True beauty lies within a person and unless we get to speak with them, know their thoughts and what makes them tick, then we have no right to decide that he/she is not a beautiful person.

The bible tells us that “people judge from outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.” 1st Samuel 16:7

Let us not be concern about external looks but try to accept and get to know each other before passing judgement.

Also, we should try to cultivate our own characters instead of worrying about our external beauty. Let us work on our internal beauty and clothe ourselves with the beauty of a loving and quiet spirit, which will be precious to God.

Everyone is more than what we see or what we may think…

A Taste Of My Love

Share Love

I’m Broke…

SO

I borrowed a dollar

To give to the child with the runny nose

Who is crying in the street

Because he has nothing to eat

AND

I borrowed another dollar

To give to the homeless man

That has no pillow

Begging around the corner

THEN

One more dollar

To give to the mother

That can’t afford a doctor

For her child that has cancer

AND

The last dollar

I gave to the teenager

To feed her child

That has no father

YES

I know it’s not much

It was just a taste of my love

Now I’m smiling

And my heart is rejoicing

Difficult People: how to deal with them

3 Days Quote Challenge – #3

Josephine described her boss has someone who is miserable and does not listen to anything she says. She said nothing pleases him, he is always annoyed and constantly quarrels with his employees over simple matters.

She stated that sometimes he would request that a task be done in a particular way, but when it is done, he would shout angrily at her saying that’s not the way he asked her to do it.

When asked how she coped with such a difficult boss, she smiled and said, “I exercise patience.”

Be Patient

Like Josephine, we too should exercise patience when dealing with difficult people.

I agree that sometimes it’s hard to resist the temptation of going crazy on them, but let us not allow their rudeness or unpleasantness to disturb our peace of mind.

Instead, we should stay calm and treat them with love.

Remember that… LOVE is always strong enough to endure trials and temptations.

Furthermore… LOVE is not rude but is patient and kind.

Memories of Yesterday

 3 Days Quote Challenge: #2

I was nominated by my friend Sayanti who blogs at Close To You for the 3 days quote challenge. Thank you Sayanti for your kind consideration.

Today I chose to write a quote about memories because in my part of the world I’m having torrential rain.

The rain drops on my roof are unlocking the doors of my memory box…carrying me back to beautiful moments….

So here is the quote I came up with.

The Beautiful Memoriesof yesterday (1)

The rules for this challenge are very simple. For the 3 days you just need to post a quote or if you wish you can post all 3 quotes on the same day.

You then nominate three other bloggers each day to participate in this challenge and inform them about it.

Remember, you need to thank the blogger who nominated you.

Here are my 3 nominees for today:

  1.  mental break in progress
  2.  mavtheauthor
  3.  Kings Oracle

Nominees, you are under no obligation to accept this challenge. But if you do I would be happy….

Happy Blogging!

Listen to The Silence

3 days quote challenge: #1

I was invited to the 3 days post a quote challenge by Sayanti who blogs at Close To You. Thank you my friend Sayanti.

My first quote for today is based on silence because I’m in a pensive mood.

Not sad…just feeling dreamily thoughtful and listening to the silence around me.

When I listen to the silence, I’m drawn closer to my higher self which is the part of me that makes me feel peaceful and contented.

silence

Too many times we search for answers in the wrong places when the answers are within us.

We just need to stay still and listen.
